As a fan of craft beer, I have drunk a lot of craft beer located in different places and countries. Can I say the most style which I like is Hazy IPA (without caramel malt)? Yes, I can.
I like the smell when you opened up a can or bottle and I will put my nose close to the neck mouth of can or bottle. Then I will drink a big mouth beer and let the beer keep in my mouth two or three minute before they get into my stomach. This my way to enjoy a craft beer and it makes you have you nose-feel and mouth-feel and you will share something with the brewers or bar workers or your friends. It shows that how do you feel or like the beer.
I like Hazy IPA which encourages me to brew HAZY IPA. Finally, I purchased a set of home brewing system (60L) and started to brew Hazy IPA. The first batch of Hazy IPA which I brewed is successful in my opinion even though I made a lot mistakes on system operations and there are also lacking of some raw materials which are not same with the original recipe (from the Tin Roof). I also deducted the quantity of dry hops because I do not want to let the bitterness in a burning level at the beginning. I can give 60 scores to the first batch. I did not give up pursuing the high quality IPA so I started to the second batch of Hazy IPA soon and I followed the original IPA on raw materials but I also deducted some dry hops because of bitterness. The grain which I used are two-rows Pilsen, flaked oat, malted oat and acid malt, the hop which I used are Brave, Mosaic, Amarillo and Centennial. The yeast which I could get is Fermentis S-33.
Here are some pictures on Hazy IPA. Brew craft beer with passion! Cheers!
